The Amgen Shanghai facility will have a Translational Science focus with modern molecular and cellular science and pathology laboratories, designed to discover and develop valuable biomarkers in support of clinical programs.

Amgen China Post-doc Station is an Independent Postdoc Work Station certified by Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security (HR&SS).

Amgen R&D Shanghai Translational Sciences is looking for a Postdoc dedicated to Clinical biomarker development. This position will primarily support Immuno-Oncology biomarker discovery and development in China collaborating with Shanghai Institute of Hematology (SIH) at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital. The successful candidate is expected to interact closely with the Amgen US-based biomarker groups, China-based key opinion leaders, to develop and implement projects to understand biomarker characteristics in the Chinese patient population. As Amgen develops and expands biomarker capabilities in China, the successful candidate will contribute to the formation of the group and establishing the strategy.

·PhD in Biology, Immunology, Oncology.

·The successful candidate should have a strong background in tumor biology and Immunolgy with practical experience in successful preclinical biomarker research.

· Familiarity with assay development and qualification, and genomic technologies such as, but not limited to, next generation sequencing and transcriptional profiling.

·The candidate is expected to work in a highly matrixed environment and drive scientific and technical innovation collaboratively with other members of the group, as well as with Amgen research community.

·Outstanding communication skills including both oral and written presentation are required.

·The successful candidate must display a strong entrepreneurial spirit, in line with Amgen’s culture of innovation and pursuit of scientific excellence.

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree. Age≤35.

·Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Chinese and English
